On the victory of the Amazon Labor Union

The RWU congratulates ALU on their historic win against the monopoly capitalists of Amazon. This victory is important for two reasons. First, it represents ground taken from our class enemies, which strengthens the whole working class. Second, this is a victory for the workers’ struggle outside of the bureaucratic union federations which, as we can see, either don't want to or are unable to organize the broad masses of the working class.

The ALU deserves the respect of all militant workers for the way that they stood up to the bullying and the “this is my turf” attitude of the big bureaucratic union leaders. These bureaucrats are just the “labor” face of the bosses and their political servants.

We salute the ALU for their courage and persistence, which has led them to victory. Beyond contracts and reforms, we will fight alongside them and all class-conscious workers to satisfy our long-term class interests, which can only be met with a final and decisive end to exploitation and oppression.
